Reticulated Foam
Commonly known as dri fast foam, reticulated foam is an open cell foam. Our reticulated foam is created in a thermal reticulation chamber to make pores in the foam. The high heat burns away the holes in the foam, which leaves the interconnect strands, and creates the large pores. The openings help filter liquids to pass through allowing for quick drying capabilities.
Outdoor and marine furniture, and building exterior filtration are the primary uses for this type of foam. Some other areas of use for our reticulated foam are: packaging, gaskets, automobiles, farm equipment, sporting goods, medical tools, aircrafts, and much more.
The advantages of reticulated foam:
- High Airflow, as it is a highly porous structure
- Excellent Filtration, different pore sizes and high flow rates allows for efficient filtration
- Good Cushioning, ideal material for packaging and shock absorption.
- Easy to Clean, as it is quick drying
- Good for impregnated foam and flamelamination

Thermal Reticulated Foam
Our foam is thermally reticulated, which means the foam buns are loaded into the reticulation chamber, which creates a small thermal explosion and opens up the cells of the foam. Thermal reticulation provides better cell structure than other methods of creating reticulated foam.
The maximum reticulated bun size is: 81" x 49" x 22"
